ID “ Please give us some personal
information about your students ( the ones who will come to Adrano ) just a short
presentation pointing out : name , age, class, favourite subjects their main interests or hobbies and food ( if they are vegetarians or if they have any allergy ).If you want you
can prepare a powerpoint or simply something like an identity card !This
information will make the matching between students and host families easier
and more involving. In this way they will be “delighted “ to share what they
have in common , moreover, it will encourage
friendship and will increase expectations !!

- Please prepare
one map and point out the route ( the main colonies ) of
the greek colonization in Sicily (
for Italy ) Spain (for Spain ) Asia
Minore (for Greece) Black sea (for Turkey) and the Hanseatic league at North
and Baltic sea (for Germany, Poland, Estonia) Trans European waterway (for
Germany,Romania). For the size: up to you !

: prepare one poster that shows the photos of the most representative greek
works of art (in your country ) that inspired the various greek colonies in the
mediterranean europe and give a short description.
-Prepare
one model or powerpoint or simply one drawing of a typical ship (hull) of the
above connections by sea. As regards the model this can be made of clothes
pegs, matches or sticks or what you want…………. Use your imagination and
creativity !!
They will
be showed in an exbition in Adrano.

EUROPEAN POETRY BOOK “SONGS OF THE SEA”
- Please choose
one poem related to the sea (the one you like most) in your mother tongue and
translate it in class. Present it in Adrano with a short introduction where you
explain the reasons for your choice .You can recite it or dramatize the theme
of the poem that, if you want, can be filmed.
Mediterranean
cuisine is popular around the world for its flavours and health benefits . Our project about the
sea has inspired me the following task:
